Zemun · Belgrade, Serbia
Zemun
Zemun was a separate town on the Habsburg side of the border until the 20th century, and still feels like one: cobbled streets climbing to Gardoš Tower, the Danube quay lined with fish restaurants and river boats, an opera house and a slower pace, 20 minutes from the centre.
