About Marina Abramović
Born and raised in Belgrade, Marina Abramović became the world’s most famous performance artist. Her first performances took place at the Student Cultural Centre in the 1970s, and in 2019–2020 the Museum of Contemporary Art staged her retrospective The Cleaner.
