About Dušan Otašević
Born in Belgrade in 1940, Dušan Otašević created a distinctly Yugoslav pop art in the 1960s, drawing on everyday objects and the hand-painted signs of socialist life rather than American brands. His work has been studied by Tate and shown at the October Salon and the Zepter Museum.
