About Ivo Andrić Museum

The apartment where Ivo Andrić, winner of the 1961 Nobel Prize in Literature, lived until his death in 1975, kept as he left it, with his library and manuscripts. It is run by the Belgrade City Museum, and the Ivo Andrić Endowment keeps his legacy alive. Andrić is best known for The Bridge on the Drina, and his apartment, on the street now named after him by Pionirski Park, gives a rare personal glimpse of the writer at home.
