Start in Republic Square, by the National Museum and the National Theatre, and stroll down Knez Mihailova, Belgrade’s pedestrian main street, past its Habsburg-era façades, galleries and cafés. At the end, cross into Kalemegdan Park and follow the paths through the fortress to the Victor monument, where the Sava meets the Danube below you. Our advice: time it for sunset, then come back through the park for dinner in Dorćol.
