A small baroque town on the Danube below Fruška Gora: the Patriarchate, the Cathedral of St Nicholas, the Karlovci Gymnasium of 1791, the Four Lions Fountain and the Chapel of Peace, where the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed in 1699.
